Stereo (Le), After Hour - Stereo is known across the globe as the Holy Grail of underground music in North America, with some of the biggest DJ names in the world playing to what may be the most knowledgeable dancefloor around – and boy, do the partiers know their music! Doors open at 2 am with people ready to party, sometime until dusk the following day! The mature clientèle (mostly straight on Fridays, while evenly distributed between gay and straight on Saturdays) can range anywhere from 25 to 60, with the majority in their thirties, so quite a few party veterans. Heck, one may even bump into someone who actually went to an actual disco in the 70s. Although house music flourishes here, especially with international house DJ David Morales as its owner, trance and electro can also be heard regularly in this intimate venue, which resides in a former movie theater.
